Double jacketed gasket is the gasket that nonferrous metal material (filter) and metal materials (clad) are combined like spiral wound gasket and it is universally used like spiral wound gasket. Recently, it tends to be replaced with spiral wound gasket
It is mostly used for field having complicated partition structure.
It is manufactured in cut shape by internally inserting compressed sheet having elasticity and externally using 0.5mm metal.
It is suitable under 500℃ and less and 60kgf/cm2 and less condition |

Recently, it is popular to increase sealing performance by adhering graphite on both the top and the bottom of gasket. As for nonferrous metal material (filter) inserted inside, there are Non-Asbestos Millboard, Graphite, Ceramic, etc. and asbestos is not used. |
