Kukil INNTOT Insulation Kit ( KINS Series ) is the product for insulating and sealing between flange, which can be applied for wide-ranged uses such as ANSI/ASME, API, DIN, JIS, etc. over ANSI 150# ~ 2500# 1/2" and for high pressure as well as vacuum.

In addition, through various product types, it can be manufactured according to customer’s customized requests

KINS-LAis insulation gasket using rubber seal in half circle type. It can be applied for various pressure ranges as well as vacuum by positioning half circle type rubber seal on groove processed gasket core. For places requesting flange requesting electric protection insulation and protection against contact corrosion through using mutually different materials, it can be applied and also, its rubber material can be variously manufactured according to used fluid types

KINS-HAis insulation gasket using Teflon. It can be used for vacuum and high pressure by processing groove to metal core that insulator is coated. Because it uses RTJ & RF Flange for insulting flange requesting electrical protection, it can be applied for places that contact corrosion is possible through using mutually different materials. As for Teflon, it is singly used and also, it can be applied in spring-energized seal shape by using resistance elasticity on bolt torque and flange weight.

- Insulation to prevent contact corrosion (Galvanic corrosion) by using mutually different materials

- In using mutually different type flange, insulation(RTJ to RF Flanges)

- In the case of insulating Sleeve and Washer and as for using general Bolt/Nut(A193 Gr.B7 / A194 Gr.2H) to flange using special materials, sometimes, it is used to prevent flange corrosion.

1. Gasket

 

1) Core Material

  As for core applied to each gasket, basically, Stainless Steel, Epoxy and Phenolic are used and also, it can be specially manufactured according buyer’s special requests.

3) Seal Material

CR ( Neoprene ) : - 40 ~ 120℃

 

- It has better internal force than NR and SBR under ozone and outdoor environment and also, it has a little resistance against petrol, mineral oils, and hydrocarbons, etc

   

Nitrile Rubber ( NBR ) : - 40 ~ 120℃

 

- It has good resistance power against Mineral oils, Aromatic and Aliphatic Hydrocarbons), and Alcohol

   

Ethylene Propylene Rubber ( EPDM ) : - 50 ~ 150℃

 

- EPDM has good mechanical characteristics and although it has little characteristic change according to aging and good resistance power against outdoor environment such as ozone, oxygen, vapor, water, etc., it is not suitable for petro family

   

FKM ( Viton ) : - 40 ~ 250℃

 

- It has excellent chemical resistance and also, it has relatively good resistance power against high temperature and aromatic hydrocarbon as well.

   

PTFE

 

- PTFE is singly applied and also, it can be applied in spring-energized seal type by using resilience against flange weight and bolt torque.

   
   
   
 

2. Insulating Sleeve

 

Sleeve applied to insulation Kit can be manufactured by using below listed materials.
Product’s thickness is 0.8~1.0mm and according to flange bolt applied to gasket, ID or OD is decided

3. Insulating Washers
